The path enters the historic center of the town of Vernazza, crosses the road axis and then climbs the village through an alley above the church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia (XIV century). It then climbs steeply along the coast planted with olive trees and vineyards, and goes along the Riolo and Costa Messorano valleys. The trail then proceeds at high altitude along the Cravarla valley and Costa Linaro, where the Mediterranean scrub has completely colonized the territory. Then we enter the Acquapendente valley where we find cultivations of vines, olive trees, citrus fruits. We approach Monterosso and notice the lemon crops sometimes protected from the wind by high walls. You then reach the rocky spur of Punta Corone and finally the town of Monterosso. TREKKING SHOES ARE STRONGLY SUGGESTED, NOT FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN.
