The itinerary begins near the historic ruins of the Hermitage of Sant'Antonio del Mesco (XI Century AD), starting at the intersection of the arrival of the path 590 coming from Monterosso and the stretch of the path 591 coming from Termine. uphill which, near a watchtower, leaves the common path and turns left towards the sea on splendid views of the coast between the Mesco promontory and Levanto. The path, partly rocky, develops at the edge of a pine forest in a state of neglect due to the illness caused by the Matzucoccus until reaching Case Lovara, a site recovered by the FAI surrounded by land converted to agriculture. In the luxuriant Mediterranean scrub, the trail heads on a slight slope towards the Rocca Spaccata, and then descends into a beautiful holm oak. Near the Giada del Mesco the path leaves the boundaries of the Park and, after a short stretch of paved road, continues between scattered houses and fields, up to Levanto. TREKKING SHOES ARE STRONGLY SUGGESTED.
